A delegation of enterprises and institutions from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, related to the Cleantech sector, have visited CENER’S (National Renewable Energy Centre) technology centres in Navarra, today.
Accompanied by technicians from Sodena, the visit began this morning at the Sarriguren centre, where they were received by the Director General of the centre, Jose Javier Armendariz. Following a meeting when they were able to learn about CENER’s projects and activities (especially the international ones), they were able to visit the test laboratories, more particularly, the solar and biofuel laboratories. Their next stop was the Wind Turbine Test Laboratory, where, apart from the technological wind energy facilities, they visited the Micro-grid located there.
Finally, the delegation went to Aoiz where CENER’s 2nd Generation Biofuel Centre is located.
This visit is framed within the strategy defined by the Government of Navarra (and executed by Sodena) to capture foreign investment projects in key sectors of our economy. The ultimate objective of the mission consists of identifying potential interesting enterprises to attract their activities to the region.
