THE CENTRE ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNED IN TUDELA AND CENER SIGN A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT

El Centro Asociado de la UNED en Tudela y CENER firman un convenio de colaboración

On 21 September next the Aula Universitaria of Milagro will house the Summer Course on “Energy Efficiency and Demand Management”

From the 15th onward, it will be possible to visit the mural “Spain, the renewable energy route”

The Associated Centre of the UNED in Tudela and the National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER) have signed a collaboration agreement today to carry out training, dissemination and research actions related to renewable energies.. The agreement was signed by the Director of the UNED in Tudela, Luis J. Fernández Rodríguez, and by the Director of CENER, José Javier Armendáriz Quel.

A mixed Monitoring Commission will be created to coordinate the main agreement and its specific agreements, which will be comprised of four members, two representatives from each Institution. This Commission will be chaired by the Director of the UNED in Tudela.


Summer Course “Energy Efficiency and Demand Management”

Since 2008, the UNED of Tudela and CENER collaborate in a summer course on renewable energies that the academic institution programmes every year in its Aula Universitaria, in Milagro.

With the title “Energy Efficiency and Demand Management”, this activity will be held this year in the Aula Universitaria on 21, 22 and 23 September, with the participation of 15 experts. Florencio Manteca González, Director of the Department of Energy in Buildings of CENER, and Antonio Colmenar Santos, Permanent Professor from the UNED, will be responsible for delivering this course which will be sponsored by the Milagro XXI Foundation, with the collaboration of the Government of Navarra, the Environmental Resource Centre of Navarra Foundation and the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving.


Exhibition “Spain: The Renewable Energy Route”

The Aula Universitaria of Milagro also houses the opening of a photomontage loaned by the National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER) whose aim is provide a closer look at the important technological and business development that the renewable sector has undergone over the last few years. The success model of the Foral Community of Navarra in its promotion of renewable energies is also presented.

This photographic selection formed part of the exhibition “Spain: The Renewable Energy Route” organised in Pamplona last April by CENER with the collaboration of the Department of Innovation, Enterprise and Employment of the Government of Navarra.

Apart from CENER, the following institutions and companies are represented in the photographic composition: IDAE (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism), Government of Navarra, Ciemat, Electricity Company (REE), Cenifer, Abengoa, Acciona Energía, ACS Cobra, Alstom, EDP Renováveis, Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables, Gamesa, Ingeteam, LM, MTorres, OPDE, and Sener-Torresol Energy.
