CENER gives advice on the different project options, using energy saving and efficiency strategies, integrating renewables into the building and applying sustainability criteria, by simulating the energy performance of the buildings. It provides this service both in new construction work and in urban regeneration and rehabilitation projects.
The aim is to achieve a high degree of comfort with minimum resource consumption, adapting the building to the climate conditions of the area without generating excess construction costs.
The studies carried out use DOE2 and ECOTEC programs and in the case of more complicated studies, TRNSYS, ENERGY PLUS or FLUENT.
The work methodology is a constant iteration between the team of architects and engineers drafting the project, and CENER, whose contributions are made during the design phase and are therefore integrated into this, thus avoiding delays when drafting the project.
