Regional Ministers of Industry and Innovation from six autonomous communities meet at CENER

Regional Ministers of Industry and Innovation and Director Generals of Energy from six Spanish autonomous communities have met this morning at the headquarters of the National Renewable Energy Centre-CENER, located in Sarriguren (Navarra), where they were received by the Director General of the centre, José Javier Armendáriz.

The Regional Minister of Innovation, Enterprise and Employment of the Government of Navarra, Jose Mª Roig acted as the host of this meeting, which is held on a regular basis among the holders of the departments of industry and innovation of neighbouring regions, such as: Asturias, Cantabria, Castile and Leon, La Rioja, Navarra and Basque Country.

In comments made during the visit, the Regional Minister, Jose Mª Roig, who is also the President of CENER, justified holding the meeting at the headquarters of the national research centre: “CENER is a home for everyone, focused on a sector that is close to the heart both in Navarra and in the majority of the autonomous communities: renewable energies, which can be an example of cooperation and collaboration that we are going to maintain among all the autonomous communities”, he concluded.
