Call for experiences and projects, CIBARQ 2010

26 March 2010

The Energy in Buildings Department of CENER and the Scientific Committee of the International Congress on Architecture, City and Energy, CIBARQ 2010, have already published the bases for the public call for the International Contest “Exhibition of Experiences and Projects, CIBARQ 2010”. This competition, which both professional and university undergraduates can access, aims to disseminate architecture, engineering and urban development works and projects that seek energy efficiency, use renewable energies and simple technologies, obtain environmental benefits and are economically feasible. Registration will be open until 15 June 2010.

The selected experiences and projects will be exhibited throughout CIBARQ 2010. Two categories have been established: real experiences (urban interventions, new construction buildings or renovated buildings, and technological and scientific advances), and a second category that will include ideas and projects from universities and research centres.

Vindicating cities with low emissions is one of the objectives set by this year’s International Congress on Architecture, City and Energy-CIBARQ, under the slogan “Low Carbon cities”. Organised by the National Renewable Energy Centre-CENER, it will take place on the 21st and 22nd of October in Pamplona.

CIBARQ 2010 is sponsored by: Government of Navarra, Rockwool, Construcciones Abaigar, Intemper and Philips, with the collaboration of Pamplona City Council.

To obtain more information about the categories and conditions of the call, as well as the latest novelties about the event organisation, you can visit the congress website (www.cibarq.com), as well as its profiles on Facebook and Twitter.
