Developing projects related to renewable energies and energy efficiency was one of the main reasons for the visit paid by Sulaiman Al Fahim to the facilities of the National Renewable Energy Centre, CENER, both in Sarriguren and in Sangüesa, where the largest wind laboratory in the world is located.
Sulaiman Al Fahim is the Director of the Intergovernmental Agency for Renewable Energies, IREO, and of AURD, the Arabic Union for Development. Al Fahim is considered to be one of the 4 most powerful Arabs, according to Arabian Business Magazine, and one of his most outstanding professional achievements was his role as the main negotiator in the purchase of Manchester City football club.
During his visit to CENER, when he was accompanied by the Regional Minister for Innovation, Enterprise and Employment of the Government of Navarra, Jose Mª Roig and by the Director General of CENER, Jose Javier Armendariz, among other officials from the centre, the possibility of signing a framework collaboration agreement between both institutions was proposed.
