The solar energy companies of navarra meet at CENER

A group comprised of more than 35 people, representatives from institutions and companies from the solar energy sector in Navarra, have met this afternoon at the headquarters of the National Renewable Energy Centre – CENER – in Sarriguren.

The title of the Conference was “Plan to Boost the Solar Use sector of Navarra”, which has been organised by CEIN (European Centre of Enterprises of Navarra), on the request of the Directorate General for Enterprise of the Government of Navarra.

Based on a knowledge of its circumstances, opportunities and interests, and with the consensus of enterprises and stakeholders, this Plan will propose the work lines that can improve the competitiveness and foster the business development of this sector in the short and medium term, as well as identify, design and plan a series of specific measures to be put into motion by enterprises, the agents of the Value Chain and the Administration of Navarra to be able to reach this objectives.

Following the work meeting, the participants visited the CENER technological facilities engaged in research, characterisation and assessment of solar energy installation materials and components.
