The European Wind Energy Association-EWEA has chosen CENER headquarters to hold its annual meeting on renewable energy policies. Over two days, the representatives from the prestigious wind association will analyse the current situation of this technology within the European and international scenario.

Furthermore, the EWEA representatives will take advantage of the meeting to visit the infrastructures that make CENER a benchmark in the renewables sector, such as for instance, the Wind Turbine Test Laboratory or the recently launched experimental wind farm.

CENER has been a member of the EWEA since 2003 and actively participates in the activity and technical committees of the association.

The Director General of CENER, Jose Javier Armendariz, Pablo Ayesa, Director of the Wind Energy Department of CENER and Justin Wilkes, Energy Policy and Analysis Director of EWEA have taken part in the opening ceremony of the meeting.
