Studying the possibility of developing technology around renewable energies is one of the objectives of today’s visit to CENER facilities by Yifat Alon-Perel, Economic and Commercial Affairs Attaché of the Embassy of Israel in Madrid and by Gil Gidron, President of the Spain-Israel Chamber of Commerce.
After a meeting held with the Regional Minister for Innovation, Enterprise and Employment of the Government of Navarra, Jose Maria Roig and Jose Javier Armendariz, Director General of CENER, the Israeli delegation visited the solar and biomass laboratories and later on, in the afternoon, the wind turbine test centre of Sangüesa.
Israel’s interest in renewable energies is focused especially on the solar energy sector, as very few wind installations have been developed, although no collaboration possibilities have been ruled out as yet, especially in technological projects.
