Visit by NREL technicians to CENER

A delegation of experts from American wind sector institutions has recently visited the Wind Turbine Test Laboratory of CENER, located in Sangüesa (Navarra). The people who took part in the visit were: Michael Derby (Dept. of Energy of the US government, Hal Link (NREL) and Brian McNiff (McNiff Light Industry). The objectives of the visit were to acquire a detailed knowledge of the LEA infrastructures and the experience and capacities of CENER relating to the multi-megawatt wind turbine testing, as well as reinforce the current collaboration, increasing the scope of the current CRADA collaboration agreement between NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) and CENER.
