This laboratory is specialised in the characterisation of components and electrochemical systems, for which it has specific equipment, such as: a Parstat 2273 potentiostat and a KEPCO/PAR booster, model BOP 20-20M.

The electrochemical characterisation of electrolyser components, such as polymeric membranes, MEAs, electrodes, etc, is carried out. Later an analysis is conducted on the response and the features of the electrolyser prototypes of several watts connected to renewable energy systems, designed and constructed in the centre.
