CENER PARTICIPATES IN THE EU PVSEC 2026 CONFERENCE IN ROTTERDAM
A group of researchers from CENER (National Renewable Energy Centre of Spain) will participate next week in the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC 2026), considered the largest European conference on photovoltaic research, technologies, and applications. The scientific program for the conference, taking place from September 14 to 18 in Rotterdam (Netherlands), is coordinated by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
An exhibition will be held concurrently, where the specialized photovoltaic industry will showcase its technologies, innovations, and new concepts.
Technical Sessions
CENER researchers will be involved in a wide range of activities throughout the week; in addition to presenting five technical posters, they will deliver two oral presentations and moderate three conference sessions. Specifically, Ana Gracia Amillo will moderate two sessions—”Long-term solar resource databaset” and “Solar resource and forecasting”—and participate in the side event “Making EU and national PV funding work together,” organized by the European Technology and Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics (ETIP PV). Javier Díaz will moderate the side event titled “Addressing challenges in PV system monitoring and performance metrics”, Jaione Bengoechea will give a presentation during one of the conference’s plenary sessions, “Towards circular PV modules,” and will moderate the session “Metrology and performance characterization of PV modules.” Finally, researcher Asier Murillo will present “Towards circular PV modules: High performance and fully cell recoverable with non-adhesive interlayers.”
