Energy Certificate Training Courses
The National Renewable Energy Centre ( Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables , CENER) is collaborating with the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy ( Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía , IDAE) in the energy certificate Training Plan for existing buildings, which in its initial phase includes the teaching of courses for certifying technicians to instruct them in the handling of the CE 3 X computer tool . The courses are being organised in collaboration with the competent bodies in energy certification in the Autonomous Regions , the Higher Council of the Professional Associations of Architects , the General Council of Architectural Technicians, the General Council of Professional Associations of Industrial Engineers, and the General Council of Professional Associations of Industrial Technical Engineers.
On the other hand, CENER has designed a specific 12-hour course aimed at building agents in charge of the energy certification of buildings and others entrusted to them. Some of the institutions who have attended these courses are the following : the Housing Institute of the Region of Madrid ( Instituto de la Vivienda de la Comunidad de Madrid , IVIMA), the Madrid Municipal Company for Housing and Land ( Empresa Municipal de la Vivienda y Suelo de Madrid , EMVS), the Galicia Energy Institute ( Instituto Enerxético de Galicia , Inega), the Industrial Organisation School ( Escuela de Organización Industrial , EOI), the Official Professional Association of Architects from the Basque Country and Navarra ( Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos Vasco-Navarro , COAVN), the Official Professional Association of Technical Mining Engineers of the Basque Country, Navarra, La Rioja, and Soria, ISOVER, ATECT Aparejadores, etc.

NOTE: Together with MIYABI, CENER is carrying out the simplified procedure of the energy certification of existing buildings for housing, small tertiary, and large tertiary CE3X, according to the IDAE resolution 26/05/2009. The certification Royal Decree 235/2013 came into force on 1st June 2013 and obliges buildings or units thereof that are sold or rented to obtain energy efficiency certificates.
