The Department of Grid Integration, Electric Storage and Hydrogen aims at research and development in the field of electric system flexibility, addressing aspects ranging from the integration of renewables, storage systems, smart grids, demand management and sector coupling through the electric vehicle and green hydrogen.
The Department addresses solutions aimed at increasing the penetration of renewable energies in the system, as well as the electrification of loads as a means to achieve the energy transition and decarbonization of the sector.
