PROJECT SCOPE
EOLES develops an advanced quantitative tool for strategic End-of-Life decision-making in wind farms. The solution integrates turbine and wind farm design, operational metrics, and economic data, incorporating emerging circularity regulatory frameworks. Consequently, it transforms complex variables into robust evaluation models for asset management, maximizing profitability throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial development to final decommissioning.
EOLES’s multi-scenario simulation agility redefines strategic planning by anticipating how current decisions impact future outcomes. This predictive capacity optimizes today’s strategic choices, reducing OPEX and planning costs while maximizing revenue from recycling and asset recovery.
CENER´s ROL
CENER leads the development of the modular tool capable of integrating data and models from all partners, covering the entire lifecycle from development to decommissioning. The project will demonstrate the tool’s capabilities by analysing wind farms impacted by recent regulatory shifts, including avian fauna protection, grid code compliance, electricity markets, and circularity mandates.
