{"id":12316,"date":"2017-12-13T12:11:39","date_gmt":"2017-12-13T11:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/?page_id=12316"},"modified":"2017-12-13T12:13:58","modified_gmt":"2017-12-13T11:13:58","slug":"brisk-ii-biofuel-research-infrastructure-sharing-knowledge","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/areas\/biomass-department\/outstanding-projects\/brisk-ii-biofuel-research-infrastructure-sharing-knowledge\/","title":{"rendered":"BRISK II: Biofuel Research Infrastructure for Sharing Knowledge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CENER is one of the members of the H2020 Infrastructures access BRISK-2: Biofuels Research Infrastructure for Sharing Knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by European Horizon 2020, BRISK2 aims to improve the success of biofuels implementation by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Helping to consolidate bioenergy expertise &amp; knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Provide opportunities for international collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Foster a culture of co-operation<\/li>\n<li>Lead to new bioenergy research activities across Europe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BRISK2 launched in 2017 and follows in the footsteps of BRISK, which originally ran from 2011 until its completion in 2015, funding numerous research visits across Europe. BRISK was focused on thermal conversion research projects. BRISK2 has a broader scope and welcomes applications from any researcher or team of researchers working in biofuel.<\/p>\n<p>As member of BRISK II, CENER makes available its Biorefinery Demo Plant. The facility includes several Process Development Units as Pre-treatment, Torrefaction, Gasification and Biochemical processes units.
