So, its aim is the estimation of the energy production in the wind farms with the lower deviation that is possible. Therefore, the goal is to optimize the decision-making to fit the economic offer made in the Electricity Market. In this way the performance of the facilities will be improved and the penalties due to the deviations will be reduced.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12921 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/MINPRE-300x135.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"378\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/MINPRE-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/MINPRE-768x347.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/MINPRE-1024x462.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.cener.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/MINPRE.jpg 1300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 378px) 100vw, 378px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The main five research lines to achieve this technological challenge are the follow:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Engine to predictors comparison.<\/li>\n<li>Generation of virtual predictors as forecasters combination.<\/li>\n<li>Weighting of the feedback of the different variables<\/li>\n<li>Incorporation in the prediction algorithms of the digital terrain models and surface.<\/li>\n<li>Incorporation of grouping options of wind farms production in the prediction engine<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Several companies and Technological Centres participate in the project. They form a consortium with complementary capabilities that encourage the development of the technological challenges. \u00a0The partners of the consortium are: UNATEC\u00a0\u00a0ITC\u00a0\u00a0S.L., the Salamanca University (USAL) and CENER.<\/p>\n<p>The MINPRE project has been financed by the Ministry of Science and innovation.
