The characterisation and yields of electrolysers are measured, and tests are performed on control systems and power electronics adapted to renewable energy-electrolyser systems, as well as hydrogen reconversion systems, if necessary.<\/h2>\n

This laboratory is divided into two rooms, in one of which, tests and studies on hydrogen handling are carried out with a total degree of safety, according to the regulation for work in ATEX explosive atmospheres. In the other room, these tests are supervised.<\/p>\n

A 1 Nm3\/h alkaline electrolyser is used, which, connected to a converter, is able to simulate renewable source electricity generation, enabling us to study the operation of the complete system of equipment connected to renewable sources, such as, for example, wind energy.<\/p>\n
