Known as the irradiance-temperature (G-T) matrix, this test is based on IEC 61853-1. It is especially useful for understanding how a module behaves in diverse climates where solar radiation and temperature can change rapidly. It also helps identify non-linear or unexpected behaviours in certain technologies, such as bifacial, PERC, or HJT, which may respond differently to heat and low sunlight conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Determination of temperature coefficients for voltage, current, and power. This procedure is also based on IEC 61853-1. Accurately determining these coefficients is key for precisely estimating the energy output of a photovoltaic system under real-world conditions, which often differ from standard static laboratory conditions. Incorrect measurement of these values can lead to errors in system design, simulation, and performance prediction, potentially affecting the financial evaluation of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of the IAM (Incidence Angle Modifier) factor. IAM is a factor that determines the performance loss of a photovoltaic module when sunlight hits it at angles other than perpendicular. In real conditions, this occurs during much of the day, especially in the morning and evening, or in installations with fixed structures.
