PYRANOMETERS CALIBRATION STANDARD ISO 9847:1992. NEW SEASON OPENING MARCH—OCTOBER 2021

We are pleased to inform you that next 1st March we are opening the new season for the calibration of pyranometers. CENER is accredited by ENAC (Spanish National Accreditation Entity) to perform pyranometers calibration according to the international Standard ISO 9847:1992 – “Calibration of a field pyranometer by comparison to a reference pyranometer”.

The calibration tests are performed outdoors on a horizontal mounting position, suitable for meteorological and resource measurement equipment. The test measurements are performed at the BSRN radiometric station located at CENER facilities.

We also remind you that CENER laboratory is accredited for the calibration of pyrheliometers according to the International Standard ISO 9059:1990 – “Calibration of a field pyrheliometer by comparison to a reference pyrheliometer”. Pyrheliometers calibration season is opened throughout the whole year.

At present, in addition to the calibration activities described, CENER is referent in:  On-site audit of solar radiation measurement stations, Performance testing and ageing of solar thermal power plant components (Solar receiver tubes, Reflectors, Parabolic trough loops), On-site inspection of the complete plant solar receiver tubes, HTF Degradation and Hydrogen detection sensor .
