Value Proposition

Novel glass structuration which offers superior performance compared to commercially available alternatives. The key improvements introduced by this development include:

    • Minimal reflectance, reducing optical losses and improving light transmission.
    • Anti-soiling properties, which decrease dust accumulation and maintain higher surface cleanliness over time.
    • Additional functional enhancements, such as anti-fogging capability and improved performance under oblique irradiance conditions, ensuring consistent efficiency in diverse environmental settings.

Added Value

This development has been achieved through a simple, single-step self-masking Reactive Ion Etching (RIE) process, resulting in a glass surface with enhanced and long-lasting functional properties.

Market Applications

The primary market application is all that are interested in low reflectance of glass surface.

    • Optics & Prevision devices;
    • Electronics (smartphones, tablets, monitors, TVs);
    • Automotive, Signane & Displays;
    • Solar energy applications (requires RIE scale-up).

TRL

Development validated outdoors for solar energy applications, TRL7. IP protected through industrial secret

To improve the readiness for solar applications a scale-up of RIE machine is necessary.
