Value Proposition

SIMPV is a tool developed by CENER that allows precise simulation of photovoltaic plant behavior with high temporal resolution. The tool calculates system losses and estimates the electrical production that would be generated under specific boundary conditions.

Added Value

The core calculation of the system is based on generating the characteristic (I–V) curves of the generating elements. In addition, the temporal scale can be adapted to the needs of each project, making it particularly useful for projects involving solar trackers and specific tracking logics.

Market Applications

The target market is highly diverse, ranging from EPC contractors and project developers to solar tracker manufacturers.

The product is currently in the development phase, with the tool presently in the demonstration stage.
