Solar thermal system and component modeling, simulation, optimization and design
- CENER Solar Thermal testing laboratory has been recently accredited by ENAC (Spanish National Accreditation Body) to perform the tests on solar water heater stores and on solar combistores.
- These test are done according to the European Standard EN 12977-3, “Thermal solar systems and components – Custom built systems / Part 3: Performance test methods for solar water heater stores applicable to stores used in solar hot water systems” or EN 12977-4 “Thermal solar systems and components -Custom built systems / Part 4: Performance test methods for solar combistores”, both are applicable to stores with nominal volumes between 50 l and 1.000 l.
- These new tests according to the Standards EN 12977-3 and EN 12977-4 are added to the tests CENER Solar Thermal testing laboratory is already performing on solar collectors and thermal solar systems according to the Standards EN 12975 and EN 12976 respectively. All of them can be carried out within Solar Keymark Certification, in which CENER is testing laboratory recognized by the Certification Bodies AENOR, CERTIF and DINCERTCO.
