CENER¹, through its TEC Department, has been awarded by the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) of the project for the drafting of the procedures for the Energy Certification of Existing Buildings. These procedures have been specified in the official calculation program CE3X, which allows the energy certification of all existing residential and tertiary buildings in Spain.
Thanks to the qualification of its technicians, CENER advises architects and developers on the technical solutions that will lead to better energy efficiency, and manufacturers of construction elements and systems on the impact that the use of their products will have on said qualification.
In a complementary way, CENER also performs consultancy to obtain LEED and BREEAM certifications.
