(2016-2018)

Financed by SOLAR ERANET

Total budget:  553.042€  CENER budget: 50.000€

Project objective: Monolithic growth of III-V materials on crystalline silicon substrates to make a tandem cell, minimizing the amount of crystalline defects produced by crystal lattice mismatch between materials.

CENER’s participation: Characterization of photovoltaic materials and devices, processing of the silicon solar cell, base of the tandem cell, and development of the module and evaluation of the functioning of the prototypes developed.
