CENER participates in the Project »NEW VALIDATION STRATEGIES FOR WIND GENERATORS” (Ref .: RTC-2016-4633-3).

The overall objective of the project is the Development of New Wind Turbine Validation Strategies that allow minimizing the uncertainty of the new alternatives of blades and towers for wind turbines that will be developed in the short-medium term to provide solutions to the problems that the trends of the wind turbine entail. market.

This global objective is broken down into two parallel objectives:

A. Blade segment testing methodology that allows to significantly reduce the duration and cost of the tests necessary to validate a segmented blade of a wind turbine as well as to provide the process with greater flexibility and depth of testing.

B. Test methodology for wind turbine towers that allows obtaining experimental curves in real conditions and in their future operating site.

The consortium is made up of the companies NABRAWIND TECHNOLOGIES and CENER.

The project has been financed by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness in accordance with the provisions of article 31 of the Resolution of December 30, 2015 of the Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, aimed at the Challenges of Society, within the framework of the 2013-2016 State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research on Innovation and co-financed by the European Union.
