CENER has a department that carries out this type of work, based on the generating knowledge about aspects that are not strictly technological, in the field of renewable energies. It carries out its activity both for external customers and for the different areas of its own centre.
Activities include tendential and technical-economic studies, development of renewable energy promotion programmes in emerging countries and studies related between climate change and the renewable sector. Legal matters (advice on incentives, remuneration systems, etc.) are also dealt with.
